Resumo:

Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo analisar o processo de ensino da temática orientação sexual na Escola Indígena de Educação Fundamental e Médio Itaty, da aldeia Guarani Tekoa Itaty, localizada no Morro dos Cavalos (Palhoça, SC). Para tanto, foram realizadas entrevistas com funcionários (diretor da escola, cacique e professora de Ciências) da EEIF Itaty. O presente trabalho oportuniza uma análise da atual abordagem da orientação sexual na EIEF Itaty, mas também procura verificar se essa abordagem atende as perspectivas da comunidade escolar. Além disso, evidencia se há o atendimento aos PCNs acerca desse tema transversal. A investigação mostrou que o processo de orientação sexual ocorre desde a fase da infância até a chegada da vida adulta, principalmente no âmbito familiar. A escola tem, nesse caso, o papel de aprimorar o conhecimento já trazido pelo estudante. Através da pesquisa realizada, ficou evidenciada uma necessidade de incluir de maneira mais específica conteúdos acerca do tema transversal orientação sexual no contexto de sala de aula.


Abstract:

This research aims to analyze the process of teaching the subject of sexual orientation in Elementary Education and Middle School Indigenous Itaty, Tekoa Itaty Guarani village, located on the hill of Horses (Palhoca, SC). Several interviews with officials (school principal, and chief science teacher) of EEIF Itaty were performed. The present work provides opportunities an analysis of the current approach of sexual orientation in EIEF Itaty, but also seeks to verify whether this approach meets the perspectives of the school community. Moreover, evidence is there service to NCPs about this cross-cutting theme. Research has shown that in the process of sexual orientation occurs at the stage of infancy until the arrival of adulthood, especially within the family. The school's role is to enhance the knowledge already brought by the student in this case. Through the survey, the authors emphasize a need to include the most specific content concerning sexual orientation transversal theme in the context of the classroom.
